Saai sympathises with citizens after cyclone Idai

Saai sympathises with the citizens of Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi who were affected by the devastation caused by cyclone Idai.

Saai understands from its network partner Agri All Africa that more than 2 200 South African farmers in total manage agricultural businesses in these countries. These farmers will face major challenges in the coming months as a result of damages to infrastructure and farms.

Saai encourages organisations, businesses and organised agriculture to cooperate with possible actions in support of farmers and role-players who are aiding farmers in the disaster-stricken areas.
