Help a Farmer

Farmers across South Africa are currently facing major challenges in protecting their herds against disease. The average cost to treat cattle that have tested positive amounts to R350 per animal, while treatment for a dairy cow can cost between R500 and R1000.

To help family farmers carry these astronomical costs and protect their herds, SAAI has launched the “Sponsor a Farmer” initiative.

Through this project, supporters can help cover the cost of treatment for cattle. Choose one of the options below to sponsor one or more cattle, thereby making a direct contribution to protecting a farmer’s herd.
